Learning scale patterns gives you a roadmap for your solos. But knowing how to navigate the larger patterns fluidly and musically is a completely different skill.

In this lesson I show you how to use these larger scale patterns to build speed and fluidity in your movements across the fretboard, by applying economical fingerings to help you break out of those constricting “3 notes per string” patterns.

We look at both creating drawn out run sequences and combining runs with more articulated phrases.
